Our location
We are located in the heart of the Peruvian Amazon rainforest near a community called 'Santa Cruz', district Mazan, which is about 2,5 hours from Iquitos city. To get there we have to take a (speed)boat from Iquitos city over the Amazon river to ´Mazan´ which is a nice small village with the Amazon river on one side and river ´Napo´ (rio Napo) on the other side that goes to Ecuador.
As soon as we arrived there we have to cross to the other side with a motortaxi to take another boat over rio Napo and rio Mazan where we may see river dolphines. Within one hour we get of the boat and have to walk another 20-25 minutes through the forest to reach the center.
As we are a little far out of civilisation there and it would be difficult to arrive there on your own, we always join our visitors in their travel from iquitos to our center.
